Ok,

Im working on an access database and have hit a bit of an obstacle and hoping one of you more seasoned users may be able to help out.

In the pic I have attached is my database which tracks the issue and return of assets in a workshop. I want to add a barcode reader or rfid reader to the system which will output data in a "keystroke fashion"

What I want to do is create a form with a search panel like I've circled on the pic, which when information relating to an item on my assets list is entered will ask me if Id like to check in or check out that item.\
