Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a 1980s Pioneer PL-200z turntable however it needs a new needle and belt. I've Googled and found some US sites selling the parts but was wondering if anyone knows of businesses in the Dublin area that would have what I'm looking for?

    I appreciate any help!

I can't imagine anyone still stocks those parts. To be honest it might be cheaper to just buy a new basic turntable.

You need to identify the make of cartridge first. Many TTs used Audio Technica as shipped. You may have to remove the cart to get the number which usually is printed on the top. Might be a good opertunity to replace the cart for a higher quality one while you're at it.

Those arms had a detachable head which could take any cartridge as far as I remember. Get yourself a new cart (integrated stylus) and off you go. Quite easy to fit. Might be a bit of adjusting on the counterweight etc but google will help there.
