Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

For the city it'll be fine but yes they are underpowered and therefore thirsty when out on the road as the engine has to work harder to get it going. As a town/city the 1.4 engine would do fine.

Very highly specced 1.4 tbh if you can get it for 7k

I had as 2002 1.4 as my 1st car engine was gutless and loved oil, but didn't miss a beat and likes to cruise at 70mph all day (just make sure to plan ahead when overtaking)

I have a trade in so it depends what the garage offers me for it.

The Skoda does have a decent spec and the interior is half leather with Dual Zone A/C.

I was hoping to get it for €7,500.

All the tyres are new and it has been fully serviced and valeted.

Tax has expired at the end of February 2013.

Dealer not open to movement on his asking price of €7,950.

I am not a cash buyer, offer on my trade in was okay.

Should I push for at least a 12 month warranty from dealer.
