    Hi

    My parents are currently on a bundle for broadband and phone. The contract has just expired and the broadband isn't getting much use, if they move to a lower plan will they have to start a new 12 month contract?

    Hi Paddy001

    With all new packages and plans that eircom offer a 12 month contract applies however if you just wish to cancel the broadband without changing the call package I don't think a contract will apply, the best thing to do is to contact account cancellations on free phobe 1901 (option 4 and then 3) and discuss your options for a cheaper bill.
