Hi,

My fiance and I opened an Ulster Bank joint current account a month or so ago, but haven't lodged anything, activated our cards or anything yet. We now are in the position of wanting the close the account, as we're both PTSB current account holders and will open our joint account with them instead.

Can anyone tell me the best way to go about closing the (almost non-starter) current account with Ulster Bank? Call into the branch, write them? Do we both need to do it together?
