pin fubar'd in ram slot ...options?

Howdy folks,
I have an Asus P5KPL-AM SE motherboard . I was trying to upgrade my memory from 1GB to 2GB by adding another 1GB DDR2 module and I completely fooked up one of the pins so now I only have one available ram slot. According to the specs

"2 x DIMM, Max. 4 GB, DDR2 1066(O.C.)/800/667 Non-ECC,Un-buffered Memory
Dual Channel memory architecture"

max memory capacity is 4 GB. So could I just put a 4GB ddr2 in one of the slots or what? I'm running vista with an intel dual core cpu. Help:o

is there just 2 ram slots?
put the ram you have in the undamaged, slot and see does pc boot up.

Although the memory can be installed one module at a time, the best performance comes from using matched pairs of modules.

Yes just 2 slots.it boots up with one slot occupied.doesn't when the damaged pin socket has ram in it.

It is can't even get the camera to focus in its so hard to see. I think its new mobo time

From crucial .com , it says suggested upgrade, 4gig, two
2gig ram chips,
in 2 slots, which means it,s likely one slot can only take 2gig max.
That,s my opinion anyway.
does slot 2 take a ram chip, does it fit in.?
2gig ram,is enough for vista 32bit ,unless you are gaming, doing design ,cad, or photoshop ,work.
eg its enough for music, web browsing, youtube,
Playing older pc games.
Even put mobo ,for sale on adverts ie,
This MObo only has 1 slot working, can only use 2gig ram max.
OR put it on adverts ie , free stuff.
