    Hey all,

I have a USB drive, up to recently when I plugged it into a PC it would auto play itself. Yesterday when I stuck it in nothing happened. When I click on "my computer", theres no sign of it. It seems to be there in "Device manager" and the LED is flashing when its plugged in.

    Anyone any ideas?

    SEE here,
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=84186291

try it in another pc,or laptop.

YOU may need to take drive out of enclosure, place in a caddy,
drives over 400gig are usually 3.5inch ,ie need sata caddy 3.5 inh.

This problem comes up every 2 weeks,eg can,t acess usb drive.

    Thanks for the reply,

Sorry should have said its a memory stick. Have tried it in laptop and work PC and no joy. When I plug it into the USB socket, the PC doesn't recognize it. I dont think its a driver problem. I was working fine last week. I plugged it into an older PC and I was able to see that there is no free space on the stick...

    anyone have any ideas??
