    hi,

    I've just noticed there is a new version of the BOI android app on the Play store. I have noticed that the latest version of the app requires permission to read call logs and  contacts from my phone, can you explain why the app needs to be able to read my call logs and contacts?

    The reason the app requires permission to read call logs and contacts from your phone is for the new Pay to Mobile service. This facility allows customers to transfer funds to any registered account by knowing the mobile number of the account holder. For more information on this service, please see here.
