Quick question re the psychology of gambling generally, the google-machine has failed me....
What's the term for the difference in how a player plays when money is involved versus how they play when it's not??

If you loose with a house of aces when playing for fun you will know better than to play for money

What? That doesn't make any sense to the OP's question.

I don't think there is a particular term for that OP, I just go all in every hand on play money tables usually to tilt off after a bad run and it costs nothing. It cracks me up listening to mates talking about facebook poker like it is the world series.

If there is no money it's not poker.

sitting at a casino table after shoving all in representing a flush hoping your opponent folds his over pair is not related to click click on free internet poker

Again, this makes no sense. Just because you aren't playing for money, doesn't mean the game changes. It is still poker.

The play money tables are aimed at players who want to learn the game who then might deposit to that site. I don't use play money tables unless I want to blow off some steam. I just don't know what the term psychologically is.

Why is everyone going off topic here?
