Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Battery life on iphone4 dreadful.

Hi all. I've an iPhone 4. Lately I've noticed the battery life is really awful. From fully charged at 100% I notice I'm only getting about an hour before it needs to be charged again which is really annoying.

I've also noticed its taking ages for the phone to charge. If it dies I've to leave it in plugged in for about 20 mins before it turns back on again.

Any ideas? This happens with both apple chargers and the cheaper version.

Let the battery go fully down, so you can't even turn the phone on. Charge the phone to 100% using a wall charger, do not use a laptop or anything else.

If you do this a few times, you should notice that battery using less power, and lasting longer than you have now.

    Best of luck.

Also, go to settings, general , reset, reset all settings.
This won't remove any content but will reset all settings preferences.

Thanks for all the replies. The reset all settings seems to have done the trick! Fingers crossed.
