Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

we are considering putting in an AGA Range into a house we are renovating for ourselves. Oil & Gas are out, so electric is our only real option.

While extremely expensive to buy and run, we are sold on the benefits of them.

Has anyone one of these fitted and could the give feedback? I've seen stats that they should cost around €20-€25/week to run based on usage, is this in line with what you are experiencing? Any other drawbacks to the electric? Any issues with them in general and how often do you find you have to get them serviced?

Aga are also offering a deal at the moment where you get a free Aga fridge? Anyone have any experience of these either?

    Thanks in advance.

Hi, so far no firm decision. We will progress with an Aga if we can afford one, but have a tight budget for the other works on the house that are needed.

If you can afford one and feel you would use it sufficiently then I would say go for it. One thing I would say is that you need to spend additional money on suitable pots, crockery, etc.

Ok thanks, they have an offer on at the moment for €2000 off the price, we were told they will also run a similar offer to the one you are referring to in December. Good luck with your decision.
