What supermarkets are there in the vicinity of Summerhill / North Strand / Ballybough / East Wall.

There is a Costcutter in the former Strand Cinema, M&S in the IFSC, Tesco in Fairview and a variety in Talbot Street, but is there anything else?

I know there are some medium-sized Spar and Londis shops, but I'm talking about bigger supermarkets.

There's an Aldi opening soon on East Wall road this summer.
I'm not aware of any big shops in that general area.

Tesco, Lidl and Aldi on Parnell Street. There's a Centra in Fairview aswell that's about the same size as Tesco Express and per the above, there's an Aldi opening in East Wall in July.

That Centra in Fairview is a cracking shop. Loads of deals there.

    There's a Costcutter (?) in Summerhill too.

A bit further out but you have a decent size SuperValu on Howth Road Killester and Nolans supermarket which is bigger again on Vernon Avenue Clontarf.

I had that niggling feeling, but it seems to be a Gala. How big is it?

You're right, it is a Gala.

About the same size as any standard Centra or Spar. They do have a lot of deals on there, advertise them in the window. Some of them are worth looking at.
