Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sure the 10 million is pocket change

What a win for Tiger. Considering where he was this time last year. He will get some reception going up 18.

    80 PGA Tour wins.

    I think you are wrong

    Very

    Maybe.

I have to be honest if I got to a certain point like Rose has I wouldn't give a toss about the money.

That's probably the reason I've never achieved anything in life and the likes of Rose have.

It's still not proper pressure like somebody without any money would feel.

Look I get your general point

But it is a serious amount of cash and have you seen the houses in florida and in america

In the circles these lads hang in - Rose would be very rich - but not think 10 million is nothing

the noise out of the Americans - all whoops and hollers and pelting it around the course - yahoos.

would love to hear Peter Alliss' words on this as USA! USA! breaks out :)

This is mental. Had to laugh at Rose apologising to the camera. “Sorry I know I’m not the one you’re rooting for!”

fair dues to Woods - all his issues have made him a humbler and better more authentic person as he got through it all and came back.

  • Registered Users Posts: 48 Navanboyo

There is a Racing post Journalist who specialises in golf tipping. Goes through long losing spells and the jury is out on him.

This week he tipped Woods to win the tournament and tipped him at 100/1 to win the Fedex.

Just before the last hole, the Racing post editor tweeted that the journalist stood to win 30k and was not laying off.

    oops

Rose waited for Woods at the 18th - nice touch. I think that Rose just comes across a bit of a knob but is not that bad.

Under next year's system... Rose would have won by 1.

Just a bit into himself or something

Fair enough he is class at golf and has worked hard on it.

He is just a bit - I'm Justin Rose

Nobody grows up wanting to be Justin Rose :D

yeah you're right - he is a bit of that. Also too sort of stereotypically English lad with a bit of arrogance that doesn't sit well with us lot :)

also has a very punchable face but I don't think he's the worst of the lot.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,001 ✭✭✭✭FixdePitchmark

She looks a lot older than 33.

No - it is his 33rd this year.

Pompous is the word you're looking for. :)

Seems a decent sort, just wouldn't strike you as the life and soul of a party. ;)

she has a few tricks up her sleeve I'd say all the same, in the leaba.

Yeah rose had to match his score to keep the number 1 spot.

Going to be some fight for that spot in the next year. So many quality players out there now and I’m sure that will be Tigers next target along with a certain green jacket

Jesus, that AA thing must be something else. Well done Tiger.

Yeah. Not a bad week for him and a lot of great shots played. Just needs to pull a few more shots out of the bag and work on the consistency. Will be fun watching the Ryder Cup now. Lots of interesting combinations.
