Had Spieth and Simpson this week, but what can you do when someone shoots a pretty much a flawless round of golf like Zach did to win it. Terrific stuff from him.

Great round Zach, and great interview!

James Hahn with a 2 on a par 5 for albatross (or should that be double eagle seeing that this is the PGA thread?)

That's the second one I've seen today!

3 rounds in and Patrick Reed is on -27!!!!!!

    Second on -20.

Was just about to post this almost word for word, insane golf,3 consecutive 63s.

What's the 4 day total record?

*edit* Answering my own question, looks like stricker shot -33 a couple years ago

I'd be more impressed about the 7 shot lead that being -27. Must be a p1ss easy course, last place is 9 under!

Don't even think I'll tune in tonight, of all the golf on TV, the final day of this holds the least appeal.

Having said that, my interested peaked when that golf channel presenter was featured. She was playing in Fowlers group. Can't recall her name. Short pink dress.

Down to 4 now, might still crumble.

Looking like a collapse is on the cards from Reed!

Patrick Reed could have done with the next size in that shirt. It's absolutely bet onto him!

Zack -10 today. Brilliant 62. Great player.

    Ok... Watching it now!

Mate has a 1e/w double on Palmer & Larazabal... A Reed collapse will see him 3k richer!

Tiger looking rusty. Not much non-american player coverage.

Definitely - even lost it from his face too. Playing well... definitely one to watch for the Masters (he is good around there).

He is always worth an each way at the majors.

Yeah Day will like masters his play down under was very good considering his family loss.

Something interesting and only in brief he is best golfer on tour to back to place. Dustin Johnson has been one of the best to back to win along with Hoey on the european tour.

HAve laid Woods due to not been impressed by yesterday, while i hav also laid mickelson with his back trouble.

Looking at the scoreboard, looks like a massive disparity between the scores on the North & South courses

Yeah south course is the tough one. Remember that par 5 13th in the open. A par was a great score.

Jordan Spieth really is a phenomenal talent. Think Rory and him are going to have plenty of battles down the final stretch on Sunday evenings over the next decade and what a prospect that is.

Tiger having a nightmare out there today!!

Fvck me I'd forgotten how sh!t an event this is to watch. 30 minutes in an I've seen about 10 shots. When I turned it on some guy was being interviewed about the stock exchange.

They did show PH miss the fairway by about 20 yards though in fairness

*edit* it was the par 5 2nd(?) and they just showed him birdie it from 10 feet

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,733 ✭✭✭SnowDrifts

That was some miss by Paddy...that's gonna be a tough up and down!!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,733 ✭✭✭SnowDrifts

Did Duval just do a Simon Dyson? Tapped something down with the ball but couldn't see if it was on or behind his line.

Great round by Paul McGinley. 5 birdies and no dropped shots.
