Fabulous for GMac. Just the sort of person we need on the Ryder Cup team.

Rickie Fowler on that putt conceded by Sergio

"He said, 'You wanna halve?' I didn't know what he meant. I thought maybe he had a sandwich" :D

Amazing from GMac. Hopefully he can win a bit earlier tonight!!!

Totally agree. He won tho. Sergio didn't. I guess that's the interesting difference.

Fairplay Dubuisson. He did very well to keep graeme at bay and that chip on the last was fantastic!

Looking forward to the matches tomorrow :D

Had feeling Dubuisson could come back into this, he is a hard bloke to shake. Started awfully but now all square with Ells.

He could have a huge Ryder Cup, looks very strong.

Dubuisson is 1 up now thru 12.

Day is 2 up thru 12.

I've only just turned it on this second and see fowler down in the sand. Is that Mahan doing caddy for him?

Jason Day would wreck your head watching him, takes an age over every bloody shot....

  • Registered Users Posts: 20,355 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

Victor is fantastic. Hope he has his A-game and stuffs Jason day! :D

It's a bit of a grind this tournament, even the official site is knackered :D

I've had a complex relationship with him.
    early on liked him.
Then he never won . Gave up on him
Then he started winning. Looked and sounded grand
Then he started choking in majors.
Then he looks like winning all around.

But during this he has been (maybe rightly) too cocky.

And he is always too slow.

Anyone see the rickie fowler interview?

I closed my eyes and i swear i could have sworn i was listening to mc dowell

Jesus but you couldn't be watching Jason Day off the Sky + ...better off tuning it at 8:30 and fast forwarding through all his steely gazes and shuffles towards the ball.

I really hope Dubuisson wins. Hes a typical laissez faire French man.

Yes - he does have that French thing going (being French). Only thing is they earn a bit of money - smoke a bit, drink too much, chase women and then have no golf career in their 30s .

He is like the French Dufner.

I remember going to Irish Open in Killarney with brother in July 2011. It was the Friday.

We got train down and when coming home we saw a Golfer getting on the train. It was one of those 3rd Class Trains. He sat across from us and got talking to couple he was sitting next to, and us too, and he seemed sound bloke. He was on his way to Dublin for flight.

I asked your man who was his name was as we all got off at same stop in Mallow, some getting off to wait for Dublin train coming from Cork and he said Victor Dubbisson. Even when he signed brothers program could not make out his name:pac:

I say he wont ever have to worry about third class stuffy trains if he wins this.

He has come a long way. I wish him well.

You only just realise that now?:P:pac:

It's accentuated when there are only 2 matches to focus on.

When his repetitive bland comments are spread over a wider range in a strokeplay event he is not noticed.

This is 3 and 4th place playoff is pointless.

I guess it just fills tv space. I'd imagine Ernie would love to go home at this stage.

Dubuisson looks mentally drained at the moment.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,657 ✭✭✭brandon_flowers

Day is absolutely dog slow. Dubuisson had already hit and he is still mopping around with a bottle of water and then decides to ask the caddy for notes.

Dubuisson should stop conceding marginal three footers as well, Day is a crank and it might upset him a bit.

  • Registered Users Posts: 20,888 ✭✭✭✭FixdePitchmark

He sort of always looks like that - then makes the most outrageous recovery - that up and down there was ridiculous - side spin on an up slope.

Somebody shouted "Scooby Dooby Doo "

    lol.

  • Registered Users Posts: 20,888 ✭✭✭✭FixdePitchmark

Day is only 26. He has one of the best records in majors since 2011. I'd say he will win one very soon.
    Some power.
I think he is actually sounder than he, looks, acts and plays.

He has the full game - some power - just putting hot and cold.

Pretty amazing, I would have put the house on Fowler against elderly Ernie :)
