The Honda Classic starts tomorrow with a full field so should be a good event to watch. Back to the scene of "toothachegate" for Rory. Suspect he will go abit better this year.

    Bit of a preview write-up here http://www.pgatour.com/tour-insider/2014/02/26/tiger-woods-phil-mickelson-honda.html

    :)

Padraig's doing well out there at the moment, -2 and tied for 7th.

Nice to see Paddy up towards the good end of the leaderboard although that might change come Sunday... hopefully not.

What do people think of the new PGA Tour website? Seems fairly glitchy to me. Not a fan of the layout although the new shot tracker embedded in the leaderboard is good.

Rory on fire out there.... what a difference a year makes. Talent like his doesn't stay down for too long.

Swinging the club as good as ever and holing the crucial putts.... Could be a big year if he stays going like this

The Bear Trap is catching a lot of them out.

Is it form for the caddies to take divots out of bunkers after their own players have put them in there?Just watching Mcilroy's second at 14 and the bunker in front of him full of divots:eek:

Good man Rory. Lovely putt. -6.

Rory +2 after 3 holes today.
    3 missed fairways.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,733 ✭✭✭SnowDrifts

Certainly a dodgy start from Rory. Found the fairway in the last two holes and messed up. His current hole he had 109yards from fairway and put it in greenside bunker - not a good sign.

7/1 with PP to be bogey free today. Glad I avoided that trap !!

Rory birdies 16 and 18 to go back to -7 overall and level for the day.

The featured hole on the PGA tour app is the 3rd so I got to see him on that par 5.

He bombed a tee shot to have a 6iron to the par 5 green but was a long long way to the flag for his eagle putt. Got the birdie though

The new scoreboard with shot tracker is very glitchy on desktop. It skips and stalls a lot when scrolling through. Hopefully they get it sorted.

Rory has hardly hit a fairway yet he is -3 today with 2 bogeys in the first 3 holes today.

What a difference a year makes. He's grinding out a great round.
