Was going to back him last night but the fact he couldn't win at Sligo in a poor handicap off this mark put me off

He was in my toughts until i saw his price of 7/1 and didnt think it was that great value, so he certainly doesnt look value at 7/2:eek:. He did travel well for a lot of the Truimph and pulled too hard.. If he settles he might stand a chance, and was a decent flat performer..

surely not in the same league however with the other market favourites as his price is starting to show !!

I'd be extremely perplexed, let's say ... if this horse wins ....
probably cause I want viconte to p1ss home.

    6:40 Punchestown

Mr Cracker stands out here as having been given a great chance by the handicapper. He has started to come back to form judging by his last two runs, and had taken a bit of time to show anything after and 18 month break from his novice runs, which included some very decent runs in top class races. He has a very light weight to carry here in 9-12 and is probably still somewhat unexposed. 12/1 looks decent value

    2 Points win 12/1 Various

Gassin had that for the winning, but an awful jump at the last cost him.

BJ gave Dalasiri a great ride.

Ted Walsh not impressed with the jumping.

Yes it does lads. That horse looked like he had a really bright future the day he was beaten by Dogora. Saying that is a lazy excuse.

Before for race trainer of dalasiri said she thought the race might be to soon, prep not great and ground is too soft.......

    Really?????

Dalisari had decent form in the book lads. Call me Bubbles didnt. He was priced on reputation alone. As was Mullins' other horse.

I see SRFC has just put his car up for sale on DoneDeal looking for a quick sale due to "unforeseen circumstances" :pac:

I can't be up. Michael o Leary said his best chance is in the bumper in the last with Jane Mangan riding.

She's not riding in the last. Must be real steal he is referring to?

He said if sdc doesnt win he is emigrating to zambia and is going to see his days out as a goat farmer.

That was a strange run by Ballycasey, seemed to be travelling well but as soon as the pace quickened he was slow to react,Ruby and Willie Mullins combo not having much luck so far this week

He seemed to get stuck behind the leaders and struggled to find a bit of a gap at the close. Was cantering nicely up to the last half mile.Very disappointing.

Went against Captain Chris and have sided with Riverside Theatre for a bit of value.

Haha, last week's comments "The bank of Willie Mullins week, free money following the champion he will clean up all bumpers and hurdles races,he has an absolute machine to be unleashed next week aswell cannot wait" seems so so long ago.

On the plus side, I hear Zambia is lovely this time of year! :D

Thought Kauto Stone was worth a minuscule bet at 30+ last night in case the Cheltenham/Aintree horses under performed. Missed the price like an eejit so leaving it alone

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

If i was given a free 5er i'd stick it on Riverside Theatre.

It's just not fair that Willie doesn't win every race!!! :P In all seriousness though, anyone backing Ballycasey at that price, when it was on 100% on reputation, can't be complaining! His form was nothing!
