Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Since 1992 when the Premier League started.:D:D.
    There would be only 1 year in which I would regard the EPL as dominant (2008). Im no EPL fanboy and would much rather watch Serie A and LOI myself.

    You know the only reason Germany overtook Italy in the coefficients is because of their record in the EL

    Not once in the period counted did they outperform them in the CL

    I distinctly remember there being threads like this after the first legs of the first ko stage last year... until eh an English team actually won the thing.

    Very little between the 3 leagues at this point. I'd still probably just plump for Spain.

    Well, it depends on what you mean by "best". One persons definition will be different to another's.

    Is the best league the one with the best team? Surely whichever league produces the champions league winner is the best one. Or perhaps the league with the most number of top teams?

    Is the best the most competitive league? One where anyone can beat anyone?

    Or is the best league the one with the best brand of football? The one with the most goals and entertainment. Or is the best league the one with the best player?

    The bottom line is, there is no "best" league. They all have their pro's and cons and you will only find a winner by specifying which criteria matters the most to you.

    i agree kirby, it just does my **** in when people in this country claim the english league as the best, and worse, even as their own. when they simply have **** all knowledge of any other league including the one in their own country
