Petrol 123.9p Sainsburys

    Sainsburys petrol is currently 133.9p per litre and you get 10p off when you spend £60 in the shop. Newry no longer has a Sainsburys petrol station so would only suit if you're in Craigavon, Belfast or Coleraine... not sure about Derry.

    so the price is about the same as in the south (1.339 = about 1.58) and there's 10c off if you spend £60.?

    With many prices now dearer in the north + cost of journey to wherever, this is no bargain.

    It is a bargain- if you're in NI. For the past 2-3 years, petrol/diesel has consistently been 20-30% more expensive than down here (the petrol stations on our side of the border have been doing a roaring trade).
