dell printer 944

I have a dell printer 944 that I bought 7 years ago. When I connect it up to my laptop running windows 7 it doesn't work as windows 7 doesn't have a driver for it. I tried installing it with my original disc but it doesn't work. Any suggestions? The printer works fine with XP. Could I get a driver on dells website?

i searched Dell and they only provide drivers for XP and Vista.

The Vista driver should work fine, may be an issue with 64Bit versions of Windows though!
