Construction Gdp and Gnp

Anyone please help me out on directing me to where I can find stats on how much the construction industry contributed to Gdp and Gnp for the years 2012 to 2007?

CSO site is drving me mad!

Table 1: Building & Construction accounted for €1,857m / €160,214m (1.16%) of GDP in 2012.

Similar calculations for years back to 2007. Note that the 2012 data is still liable to significant revisions.

Table 2.

Similar figures but has them in cash terms (nominal - not adjusted for inflation) which allows you to simply to divide over nominal GDP of the year in question to get your percentage.

Example: 2006

16,664/177,729 = 9.4% of GDP

Then select

Economy >National Accounts, >National Accounts 2011 (annual results) >

Then click the second link and the item you want will be 20b.


You can get nominal GDP for the previous years using one of the tables on the page as well.


EDIT: Just reading some google links that construction was worth 25% of GDP in 2008...I can't quite find the construction figure to make that add up I am afraid.
