THQ2KGames are releasing Universe 4.0 Information today. I have to say I love Universe mode in the WWE games and it was the sole reason why I got the last two versions, WWE'13 & WWE '12.

I have to say I was very disappointed in last year's offering this years will have to offer alot more before I even consider buying the game this year. Looking forward to reading more about the mode this evening.

Great to see that there will be 100 CAS slots instead of the 50 slots in previous games. Also confirmed that Roddy Piper and Paul Heyman are in the game!

Some of the new additions this year:
New this year are custom rivalries, which will allow you to set up your own feuds throughout the course of the mode. The rivalry manager allows you to have short or long rivalries, and they can begin and end and different times.
Improved menus which will have news, rankings and statistics within your own personal Universe.
The game will also set up rivalries by itself if you choose not to use the manager.
You can now manager wrestler attires within the mode. You can customize the look of each wrestler as you move through the mode.
Other customization options include the ability to edit the rosters of each show, edit the tag teams, titles, and the storylines.
You can now set up an actual King of the Ring PPV in Universe Mode complete with the tournament along with other matches within the card. This is accomplished via the PPV editor, which also gives you the option to select a 'No Man's Land" PPV theme, which features a PPV built around different cage matches.
Winning King of the Ring will result in a Superstar carrying the title of King of the Ring for the rest of the year.
You can set up a Divas Themed PPV now with Diva Titles being able to be named a major title.

Have to say im looking forward to some of the new features of universe 4.0, despite the slightly dissapointing roster

I've just watched a Bret Hart entrance video for this game. Impossibly bouncy ropes? Check. PS2 era graphics? Check. Incorrect (modern) entrance music? Of course.

How can they not get the rope physics right.? And why do superstar models get worse looking each year, more like a melted candle than anything.

I'm expecting a lot more from next year's release on next gen. I'm giving this year a miss

I shall not be lulled by this game! I always feel the urge to get the new wrestling game, have all games on all consoles but recently I'm disappointed with the repetitive nature of the games and I get two days fun out of the career and then nothing....used to love the old gn mode and was excited with the intro of universe mode but it has been a letdown, hopefully the new one will be good but I'll be holding off it.....

Last wwe game I truly loved is day of reckoning 2 on GameCube....great multiplayer and story mode....thinkin bout pullin out the ps2 and playing the career mode in hctp! Made a awesome aj styles in that!
