Activision clearly holds their customers in contempt. The guy at the start of the video said "the iconic development team, Infinity Ward"...this is untrue. That iconic development team are now called Respawn Entertainment and they're working on TitanFall. The only people remaining at Infinity Ward are a bunch of recently brought in yes-men that have no passion for the franchise or it's history. They're just told to churn out a generic shooter year after year and they're living off a brand name that's obviously past it's sell-by date on a mechanic and technological standpoint.

Some YouTubers are actually boycotting Ghosts. Pawned said he is not posting anything COD related anymore on his channel because he's bored to tears.

The future belongs to TitanFall, Destiny, Battlefield 4. I'm also looking forward to Killzone.

while ghosts looks good, it still looks like just one big cluster**** :L just **** all over the screen, killstreaks, nade spams, now we have leaning ability so campers have it all now
cant say im going to buy this one at launch, i waited 4 months after launch to buy bo2 so il think il wait for this one as well, only thing that interests me is the clan, and destructable envoirment parts in some maps, but have a feeling theses wont do much for online play mainly because it will be like a race to see who shoots at these first, so yaaaa. not excited for it, more looking forward to bf4

looks great, at least Infinity Ward is doing this one, they always make a good cod, Treyarch are a disaster.

No idea what to expect from this but I'll definitely pick it up. Had great craic with BLOPs, MW3 and BLOPS2. Not the best games but decent and when you're in a Boards party it makes it all the better

Just watching a stream on twitch there. Motion sensors are back.

Also there seems to be a kill streak or perk that makes you invisible. The lads are hoping they're wrong.

I see they are removing theater mode completely. That might actually be a good thing as hit detection became rubbish after MW2 so hopefully it will be better now again.

Only found out this about this this morning. Genuinely didn't know there was a multiplayer reveal till I opened up my Youtube sub-box!

Krudler's comment is fairly fitting, days of hundreds of posts after a multiplayer reveal truly are gone.

The cranked game mode looks good, that aside the rest doesn't interest me at all and considering the last IW game was such a fail and COD games in general just losing that spark, I won't be picking this up. Thankfully, there are other FPS games that I'll get and ones that are available at PS4/XB1 launch too.

In fairness, I'd still say blops 2 is better than mw3. Mw3 is the definition of plain and average. Solid but uninspiring.

The connection on mw3 was much better than blops 2 hopefully its similarly good on ghosts.

I find IW titles play smoother and have better hit detection

It certainly can't be any worse than MW3. The dullest, most uninspiring game I've ever put into a gaming system.

Thought Dome, Bootleg and Seatown were average, hardhat a bit below. Arkaden was good. Village and Interchange were horror shows imo.
Lockdown was up there with Arkaden as the only 2 maps I would actually consider to be good.

The game will be hugely successful regardless of what they do! The fact that next gen consoles are out this year will also be a massive factor in its success, exposure to 4 of the biggest consoles in history!

That aside I think Ghosts looks a bit more inspired then the last few COD games. I suppose we will have to wait and see though.

Ah, I'd be here all day saying why I hate it. I honestly have it at Haze level when it comes to FPS awfulness. Obviously it sold millions of copies, but does nothing to impress me, well.. marketing aside. I think the activity in this forum is quite telling too, post-MW3 onwards as well. Black Ops II was an improvement but not as much as I was hoping for, whether than be over MW3 or the first Black Ops game. I really didn't have high expectations neither.

Infinity ward games have better connection IMO. But they have way more rubbish that shouldn't be in the game. I prefer mw3 to black ops just because of the specialist class. Black ops 2 is just too boring.

Arkaden and Hardhat were the only decent maps I found in MW3 ^

Honestly cannot remember the maps names in BOPS II I remember I really enjoyed the ones with the Bullet train, shopping center/plaza, yacht and mansion.

I honestly couldn't pick one MW3 map that I'd even describe as 'passable', they were all terrible. Black Ops 2 aint much better.

In MW3 I love Dome, Underground, Bootleg, Seatown, Arkaden, Hardhat and Lockdown. Thought Resistance was decent. Village, Mission, Fallen and Carbon were OK. Interchange was good for an aul spawn trap

BLOPs2 I love Hijacked, Standoff, Raid and Slums. Yeman and Plaza are ok, the rest are pretty **** IMO. MW3 definitely had the better maps, again IMO

Maps in BLOPS II are pretty bad. Raid and Hijacked as you mentioned are ones I like and I used to like Standoff but hate it now.

Really I only want to play Raid, Hijacked and Nuketown and sometimes Slums. If everyone had the latest DLC pack I'd say Uplink too. I don't like any of the other 7 DLC maps I have.

On MW3 there's 5 or 6 maps I like. They may all be different shades of brown but I find them nicer to play.

All I wanted to play was either Nuketown Playlist or Hardpoint on the vanilla maps, the maps I mentioned namely.

When they got rid of that playlist originally and err, I soon accidentally resetted my rank in a drunken haze, well my interest with BOPS II deteriorated big time. I'd have probably kept the game had they kept the Nuketown playlist. It seemed real out of the blue that they pulled the plug on it too. Battlefield 3 being excellent also played it's part too.

Hardpoint was an excellent addition, I'll give Treyarch their props there, even if they got rid of my beloved Sabotage -_-
