Did they not take the St. Thetic (synthetic) name from the 737-200 sim in the old Aer Lingus building? Parc Aviation used to do Multi crew cooperation courses in it.

Sounds about right, though it may also have been on the even older 1-11 sim that was still in place in to the early 90's.

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

Would not like to see that as a stunt plane.

You're correct. St. Thetic was the EI 737-200 sim. Have a good few hours in it myself!

    Hmmmm

Wonder if they do other out of sequence registrations.

    OH-FFS could be useful,

OH-SHT could also raise a few laughs.

Wonder if the French would realise the implications of F-ECKU........

The Manx register is one that is helpful for words

    M-ADAM is apparently on a Pilatus PC12.

M-OGGI is available, as is M-OGGY, sounds good for a cheetah or Tiger,

    M-OODY and M-OOSE are allocated, as are M-OTOR, M-OUSE and M-OUTH

    M-ILES, M-INER and M-INOR are already gone. So is M-ILAN, and M-ICKY

M-ICRO is probably owned by some sort of computer company,

M-ANGO, M-APLE and M-ARCH are all in service, as is M-ATHS

    M-USIC is a Gulfstream,

    M-YGIV is not surprisingly a Gulfstream 4

And yes, M-YBUS is on an Airbus 320, and M-YBBJ is on a Boeing BBJ.

The Canadian register seems to be less active with non standard sequences,
C-IVIL has been used in the past, but there's no trace of C-OURT, or C-OMIC, and I'm surprised that C-RAZY has not been allocated.

C-ROWN is also unused, as is C-ROWD, which surprised me a bit.

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

Ferry flight from Paine Field to the Boeing Museum of flight. It was the first 727 to be built and has been restored over the last number of years and now sports a UA retro livery. 15 minute flight and her last ever.

I have absolutely no idea how they actually coordinate this, but it was created by 5 aircraft at the same time, way way too cool :)

See it done at airshows. The have their individual smoke dischargers programmed to emit in a specific sequence as they fly line abreast at a steady speed.

With the Air Corps practicing quite a lot for the Easter Parade, has anyone noticed the latest addition to the PC-9's?

None I've seen, not much happens at KIR so can't see it taking off.

More of a 'had' situation. And that was mostly about its future usage.

But nothing stopping some posters starting a KIR thread, how active it will be is another issue.

Not a story you see everyday, a Ryanair pilot helped deliver a baby at the side of the road in West Cork...

It's not that busy there but not completely dormant either, Stobart go out in the morning, two or three ryanair flights during the day, stobart back in again in the evening for an overnighter.

There's a Phenom 300 operating from there, N272NR, and occasional visiting GA traffic such as a diamond twinstar and a few King airs that visit regularly, a few helis also, and 172's from AFTA in cork occasionally call there for tea/nav exercises. There's one based Piper Cherokee.

Was a thriving GA place one time but not anymore.

I wonder was he tempted to play the "landing music" when the baby was delivered early and ahead of schedule? BOOM BOOM! :P

Grand so, I'll find my way out.

...Lauren Albrighton, 18, who was travelling to Magaluf to work for six months, said the plane began to shake shortly after take off.
She said: '[The cabin crew] just said there was something wrong with the engine. They kept asking people 'did you see anything weird on the wing?'
'There were a few people panicking. It was like we were flying in a really bad storm - but there wasn't a storm. It just felt like the plane was going to crash - it was on its side a lot.'

I did'nt know the Daily Mail did its level best to over-dramatise a situation:D
