Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I watched the Limerick game back over again. How the ref gave a red card to the Shels player is beyond me. There was nothing in it at all. Certainly not when you compare it to the studs up knee high challenge from a Limerick player later in the second half.

Couldn't make it to Richmond, fully expect us to lose.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Shamrock Rovers really should have put UCD to bed before they scored.

Some nice goals in the Bohs v Bray match

Were playing pretty well though just as I typed this we conceded to a corner.

1-1 in Richmond, super away point for us, sounds like they missed a bucketload of chances.

The lads played brilliant tonight and deserved the draw in the end.

Pats missed about 10 open goals though.

    Phewwwwwwwwwwwwww.

    Relief is not the word.

Badly needed to get result tonight.

Another joke of a result. We battered Bohs, but didn't win the match. I'm getting sick and tired of the likes of Derry and Bohs turning up looking for nothing more than a point and getting it. I don't even blame them, it's us. It's all us!!

Pats fans have been using that one for over 2 years now.

    They have to get clinical.

A point away in Richer after going a goal down.... I'll have that thank you !!!

Tbf to Pats (Im a bohs fan) they had so many chances to score but couldnt for some reason.

We deserved our point tonight and we'll take it. Luke Byrne MOTM for me.

well given all the negativity on the thread im gonna say well done to the waterford fans who made the long trip to finn park... clearly locked but never stopped making noise... in other words the best kind of fan :pac:

we badly need to get some creativity into our midfield, get merritt & o'donnell back in there, maybe forker too. defensively we are good, but out lack of creativity cost us at the weekend. 4pts between second and second last in d1 now

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 21,296 ✭✭✭✭gimmick

So thats what it is like to steal points we scarcely deserved.

My buddy at the game said we didn't even deserve a point and that both goals were contentious. That said, we have had precisely zero luck this season on the penalty front and very little other fronts either. 3 points are 3 points, and hopefully we can push on from here.

SPA and Limerick this weekend will provide serious tests. Much happier going in to those games on the back of a win that more dropped points.

Bit of a chasm between the bottom 3 and the rest. Will only get wider as well I reckon.

4 points from those two games is something I wasn't expecting. Lovely stuff. Should be full of confidence against Drogheda.

We were very fortunate last night to get a point. Pats could and maybe should have been 3 or 4 goals to the good before the equaliser.

Got a huge slice of luck but very happy with both performances. Mulchay has been immense recently. Been a huge player.

Shels play Athlone in Tolka in the LSC tonight, seems like a poxy chore going to it!

Big result for Cork City after a fairly disastrous couple of weeks.

I have concerns over the budgets for this season tbh if things continue as they do. City have been on an upward curve since Foras took over but curve has flattened out now by the looks of it.

Danny Morrissey made a big impact last night from reports, so I hope he is given a chance from the start on Friday.

I said it to one of the Board, they couldn't really have it yesterday though with us playing on Saturday.

Wasn't a bad match once it got going, bit sloppy to start (expected with the weakened sides out). UCD up next in the LSC!

Delighted to finally do that to Pats.

There has been a serious amount of Bohs-Pats games where they managed to get poxy goals and ride their luck out. So happy to do it to them. :D
