Tried to tune it in indoors and only got FM104, its very close to their signal if it is a dance station, asking for their hand to get slapped!

Tuned in just after Clondalkin on the M50 going north bound and picked up ATB - Don't Stop playing, no RDS and a jingle saying
North East's Storm i think. Was very fussy

Hi yes there is a dance pirate in Dundalk on 104.2 called storm. They used to be big across the north east in the early 00s.

nothing wrong with that. much of todays music is rubbish anyway. storm went online only for years and are on automation most of the time, possibly thats why they aren't as big as they were. decent station though.

Here in Cork this evening Fusion are on 87.5 a frequency that Cityview had used for years. Cityview have moved to Fusion's old frequency of 87.7, They'll be on the move again soon though with the temporary licence station at
Colaiste Stiofain Naofadue to use 87.7 from early October.
Klub Fm are also on air at 87.7

Sorry misprint :o. Just to clarify the situtation is
    Fusion are on 87.5
    Klub are on 87.7
and Cityview are currently on 88.7 where CSN temporary college station are due to start on 2nd October.

Klub FM in Cork is on 87.8. Very easy to mix up the frequency's around that part of the dial.

As for Cityview, they were on 103.0 years ago if i am correct. Cant see why they don't use that again as there signal doesn't really go far beyond the city. Also 104.8/9 is available.

i agree. while there are some trance and old school shows, i'm sick of the same old "deep" house that is really chart dance that is polluting the airwaves more or less non stop. the dance stations don't offer anything different. leave the house to NRG and the others . well . you know . play something different.
