Xmas now booming on 105.0 in Kerry; presumably Knockmoyle/Slieve Mish

105.0 (Tralee/Killarney) wasn't listed on https://christmasfm.com/our-fm-frequencies/ yesterday but it is now

Sign of the success of Christmas FM that on the N21 at Barnagh near Newcastlewest I can now receive it on 8 different frequencies:

    87.7 - Galway (Tonabrucky)
    88.1 - Kildare (Saggart)
    99.4 - North East (Mohercrome?)
101.6 - North Midlands (Cairn Hill) - very strong
103.8 - South East (Blackstairs) - heavy interference from C103 & Tipp FM
    105.0 - Kerry (Knockmoyle/Sliabh Mish)
    105.5 - Limerick (Woodcock Hill)
    106.7 - Cork (Churchfield)

Only Dublin, Bray, Wicklow, Kilkenny and Letterkenny missing.

Beat me to it, picking it up fine in Swords, albeit a little weak.

Hardly likely to be Dublin, is the RDS the same or could it be a pirate relay?

Definitely not Dublin. It was sustained and stronger than 105.5 from Woodcock Hill in parts.

RDS was the same as 105.5 and the same levels/audio setup.

Strange one alright, Dublin is the only place where 105.2 has been assigned.

105.5 checking in with RDS on level ground near Tralee and fairly strong all around east Kerry.

It doesn't match any currently active permanent sites so my guess would be either the Ballyhoura mountains or somewhere high in west Tipperary like Keeper Hill

Anyone else been picking up a tone on 96.0 in Dublin the last few weeks or is it just atmospherics/harmonics?

You should be able to hear BBC Radio 4 on 96.0 on a fairly consistent basis - there was a station testing but has moved elsewhere - its not a great frequency due to LMFM on 95.8 and East Coast on 96.2FM

Basically, Mr. Easyradio was letting people know that Connect was back, initially testing on 96.0. Mr. Easyradio is rarely an uninterested party when he lets us know about a blank carrier or a new station on a frequency!

Earlier on in the month before it came back on new frequencies:

Thanks for the happy memories. We loved bringing you THE GREATEST mix of 80s songs!
And now we return you to the endless talkshows, 'shock jocks' and 'phone in misery porn' drivel that makes up our Government sanctioned Broadcasting all across the FM dial................. hisssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

We're not all Mr. Easy Radio of course.

Couldn't get anything on 96.0 this evening, although "Retro FM" was clear on 91.0. It was playing what seemed like 70s funk. I didn't hear any liners.

Today my world has been turned upside down. I cannot believe it, shocked still. So I rushed on here to tell everyone I am hearing voices. But no. I heard a voice, a voice on Traxs. There was someone live on just about now. Excellent. :D

they are in the mix. i think it's pre-recorded and voicetracked rather then fully live. some good tunes so far.

They’ve finally acknowledged on Facebook that 105.2 is for Clare. Possibly Maghera.

At this stage they cover so much of Ireland now it’d be simpler for them to list the areas they’re not covering.
