I'm trying to configure a Netgear WNR3500v2 as a wireless repeater on a Cisco 3925. Below is where I am at the moment. The repeater is not talking to the base station - what have I not done? I confess to being an complete newbie at this.. I'm on UPC 50Mbps service
(Please note security was set to off until I can get this working..)

    **************************************************

    On Cisco 3925:

    WDS Mac address: 4C:72:B9:83:EA:78
Physical Mac address 24:76:7d:3a:48:68 – this was entered on the Netgear box
    Local network Mac address 24:76:7d:3a:48:6b

    Wireless security mode disabled
    Local ip set to 192.168.1.1
    Subnet set to 255.255.255.0
    DHCP enabled
    Starting IP set to: 192.168.1.100
    Primary DNS: 208.67.222.222
    Secondary DNS 208.67.220.220
Max DHCP clients: 50 (wont be getting anywhere near this...)
    Client lease time: 1440 mins
    Wireless: enabled
    Network mode: Mixed
    Band: 2.4 Ghz
    Channel width: 20 Mhz
    Channel 8
    SSID: xxx
    Mac filtering: Disabled
    Transmission rate: Auto
    CTS protection mode: Disabled
Enabled “allow wireless signal to be repeated by a repeater”
Remote AP Mac address C0:3F:0E:B2:3C:4E (stamped on outside or netgear box) and C0:3F:0E:B2:3C:4f (?)
    Firewall: SPI: off, IPV6: off
    Access restrictions: None
Working mode set to router mode
    Connection mode set to DHCP

    On Netgear WNR3500v2:
    Internet Port Mac Address: C0:3F:0E:B2:3C:4F
LAN Port Mac of this router/Wireless Mac: C0:3F:0E:B2:3C:4E – this was entered on the Cisco box

    SSID XXX (matches cisco box)
    Channel: 8
    Mode: Up to 145Mbps
    Security: None
LAN – Use Static IP: 192.168.1.149
Wireless Repeating function enabled, set as Wireless Repeater
    Repeater IP Address entered: 192.168.1.149
Base Station Mac Address entered: 24:76:7d:3a:48:68
All OK at this point, the DHCP server is automatically turned off. Many of the menu items are disabled once the repeating function is turned on, but there is no apparent communication with base station..

Do I have to assign an IP address anywhere else? There is a Basic Setup screen with prompts for IP/subnet/default gateway that are currently blank
