Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In all fairness Coutinho was hit in the throat...hardly over acted as the commentary was hinting at.

Correct me if im wrong but wasnt Pardew given a rather longtermc ontract last season?
I recall thinking to myself how crazy it seemed at the time.

A long term contract filled to the brim with clauses.

    Ashley can't be that stupid.

    Oh, wait.

Its a 1 year rolling contract that runs for 8 years

Sturrigde shouldn't have even got a shot on goal . Newcastle have 2 DM's on the pitch .

There are more gaps in the Newcastle back line than in a mega-store solely consisting of Gap stores.

Liverpool should really kill them today.

Liverpools application is excellent but I with a lot of pressing they will get heavy legged so a third goal is needed.

What on earth has happened to Tiote this season? He's just regressed more and more. Looks completely lost.

This Newcastle performance might be one of the most tactically disorganised I've seen in years in a top league.

Newcastle fans certanly not helping their own team!

Its been like this for months lads, pathetic tactics, baffling subs and picking players out of position when alternatives exist

I've watched Sissoko at a rough guess, a dozen times properly for Toulouse and a few times for France. I don't think I've ever seen him play wide right in any of those games bar maybe the odd run here and there.

Has he been playing there for most of his Newcastle career so far?

need ben arfa and gouffran at half time and go for it

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,438 ✭✭✭livinginkorea

Gerrard should have taken his time...lots of space for the shot there.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Lovely run for the throw in by Coutinho then a flip back into space for Gerrard. Proper player!

It is the ref and he has got nothing wrong so far

Apparenty its all three of them. No probs with the ref, the the linesmen have been a bit off. Espeiclly the one of the near side.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Performances like this all season have been cheered to the last minute, the tide has turned in the last couple of games. 3 sellouts rewarded by abysmal performances while our best players warm the bench

This is very reminiscent of 2009. No one in black and white seems to care and are just accepting their fate.

Crazy decision playing him there, he's completely wasted.

...and Liverpool are either scoring early on and kicking all kinds of **** out of teams, or not scoring early on and getting a 0-0 draw.

Newcastle seem to hoof it a lot into Cisse

Par for the course with pardew, right wingers at left back, right backs at DB when alternatives exist

Sissoko started off like a house on fire as did goufran and haidara, 3/4 training sessions later sissoko cant control the ball and has lost the ability to pass the ball

That was the best spell of play from Newcastle thus far. Really should do better though.

Sturridge is eating that space up. He's doing really well linking up play.

We are letting the game slip and inviting newcastle on to us. One goal and they are back in the game. Liverpool need to stay awake!
