Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

you can change his medal collection though :D

I'm glad he has his medal, he deserves one.

United playing badly but still created several clear cut chances, still a very weak Arsenal defense.

You don't boo at a player who's "dead to you", you just ignore them.

For all that Arsenal have been the better side they look very vulnerable at the back, United could easily have scored four. 2 headers from Jones and Van Persie's

I think it looked like he got the ball too. Regardless if he did or not though, it was a retarded tackle to make.
Yeah, I thought he might have got studs to it as well from the slow mo from behind the goal. And yes, stupid tackle.

Some good football there. Arsenal came out like angry little terriers after the big dog but haven't pressed it home thankfully.
Should be a good second half. Hopefully no red cards for either team.

Poor enough first half from United.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,761 ✭✭✭Donnielighto

Not really, it just the truth it not like he left himself a legacy at the club ;).

who that left without a title has a legacy if he doesnt?

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,521 ✭✭✭Giggsy11

Played poorly but created 3 very good chances apart from 1 goal. We should improve second half and won't mind Kagawa for Valencia with Nani playing as RW and Cleverley or Anderson for Jones. But Fergie never changes before 70 mins.

You are better off arguing with a pair of curtains, you will get more sense from them.

Not gonna make similar comments towards the 2 United fans who agree with me?

Hopefully that goal will rattle the Arsenal, though I'd rather Arsenal to get CL ahead of Chelsea

    You shouldn't be so bitter.

It's not bitter at all, he just done nothing at Arsenal for him to be remembered he's no Henry, Wright or Bergkamp now if they had score for United against Arsenal it would sting a lot more.

He won the league with United fair play for me this match in about the race for fourth not about Van Persie.

Arsenal have been the better team but its all been played in front of us with no chances and an offside goal. We have had the chances despite being outplayed. Weird game

We really need to start the second half as we did the first. Sagna has obviously been or worst player but Pod has been poor too. He likes to drift out too far for a line striker. Rosicky has shown that this midfield can be dominated if the pressure is put in them. Something stupid from Rafael or(less likely) Jones and we could be up against ten men.

The real fast is that a Fergie bollocking will seems United more worked up for the second half than they were for the first. They've been poor but still go in level.

More concentration and equal the pace and we'll take this.

Ramseys awareness for Walcott when gave it to Podolski was absoultely awful, you could see Theo screaming for it, in acres of space.

It's almost inevitable there will be a red in the second half due to Dowds incompetence and handling of the game.

Arsenal fired up for the at the start and Utd looked very lacklustre. Arsenal get physical with Utd and Dowd let's them away with it. Utd wake up a bit, decide to give a bit of it back and get 4 yellows in a matter of minutes. He then gives a couple of dubious yellows to Arsenal players which has set him up for a red in the second half, most likely a Utd player, especially with pressure from the crowd.

RvP got the ball first, then got fouled. Irrelevant as to whether Sagan got the ball, RvP got there first.

if Utd could be arsed, that Arsenal side could easily crumble.

I don't like how fragile they look.

Utd running freely through huge gaps at times.

Arsenal's main threat is far and away Walcott v Evra.

I expect United to come to life around the 70 min mark, I don't think we can keep this up, it would be amazing if we did, but we need to make the players calm down a bit, I can see more cards coming for both sides.

He is like a scared little kitten from the off. Needs to be replaced. I would bring on Gervinho too for Podolski not because he's good but his trickery would draw fouls and there's 4 of them booked.
