Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I thought this was rather humorous. It seems every year when the US State Department releases its report on human rights worldwide, China releases a report on human rights in the USA only. I know the USA is no paragon of virtue in terms human rights but they are streets ahead of China in that regard and this is seems highly ironic to me, some of the points they raise are ridiculous such as: "Apartheid still exists in American society". Do they not realise that people laugh at them when they come out with this nonsense?

It's acknowledged that this report is from the Secretary of State to the US Congress, but it's also a public report available to the world as if a benchmark on Human Rights for all nations.

It should be noted that the 190 "Country Reports on Human Rights Practices for 2012" authorized by John F. Kerry, Secretary of State, failed to include the United States. Does this obvious omission by the US justify the PRC report on the United States, as if it were an editorial addendum to make the "Country Reports" on the world complete?

Although the content of the PRC report on the US may be problematic, it does appear that they left the door open to PRC to add the missing country: United States.
