running routes in oranmore

    guys, what are the popular running routes in or around oranmore? thanks!

    Renville Park is probably the most popular location to base from. You can do loops of the park, about 3k round, or head out of the park for a nice 5k around the coast to Maree and back on the roads.

    Other runs are from the village out the coast road and back, roughly 8k.

    Out the coast road and up to the right at an old petrol pump brings you to the Galway Clinic or Monivea giving you a 12 /14k route.

    If you need help pop into us in the running store in the village. There are also a couple of other runners on here too who will have other routes too.

    Nice runs out in Tawin, just past Maree too. Long straight roads but very exposed on windy days.

    Renville Park is fantastic for running in. If you start of the top and run out to the point and back its 5km. The full loop of the forest then is around 3.5km
