Kerry Islamic outreach society KIOS

    Dear all,

    We have made a small society called Kerry Islamic Outreach society "KIOS" which is primarily set up for conveying authentic information about Islam to the community. We participate in inter faith gatherings and prayers in order to break the rumors about Islam via authentic evidence based information.

    Our Aim is to bring down the barriers and communicate with the whole community with mutual respect so every one can benefit harmony esp younger generation. We are getting involved in charity work of Enable Ireland at paediaric level and also aim to visit nursing homes to meet our elder generation of the community. There are many muslim doctors in KGH working as you all know and some of them work voluntarily with us as well.

    We are hoping to organize a cultural exhibition in august post Rose of Tralee with some events like face painting, henna hand painting etc in a local hotel. Every one is welcome there.

    Sounds interesting and pro-active. Keep us informed of any events and activities being planned for the Kerry area please.
