Xbox live usage

Hi. I was thinking about getting xbox live and ive got 60gb a month. I was told setting up xbox live would use a lot of my internet. Does anyone know how much gb setting up uses and how much gb would be used just playing per hour?? Thanks.

playing games online uses very little data, you'd have to be online constantly to take a significant bite out of 60gigs. downloading lots of games and streaming music/video on the other hand will quickly eat into your allowance
