Anywhere in Kildare that does small stones(pebbles) for garden in tonne bags? I know the orchard do it but anywhere else? Needs to be delivered too.

    Any suggestion?

    Cheers

Naas paving centre near B&Q do them. Wouldn't have a clue on price.

    Contact details on the site.

I've no connection to them. Just know people that have used them satisfactorily.

Barretts hardward in Maynooth are likely to be the cheapest and they will deliver free if you are within a few miles!

They'll deliver free if you are within a few kilometres of their warehouse.

Brennans in Kilcullen have a range of stone types available (there's a picture here of the different types: http://brennanshardware.ie/page3.html).

There's also Richard's Hardware in Celbridge, the website says €80 per Ton with free delivery.

I presume their Ton = 20 x hundredweight = 2240 Lbs which works out about 2.5 stone heavier than a Tonne so not a whole lot of difference.

Thanks I didn't know there was a difference between ton and tonne! I'm going to visit Barrett's and Richards tomo as they are closest to my house. Appreciate all the responses.

    Thanks!

I recently had 2 (tonne or ton-I don't know!) bags of 'honey chip' gravel delivered from a guy called the Sandman based in Rathcoole. €160 all in. Completely transformed my garden. Having said that, I didn't know Richards hardware did it as well, I would have enquired there also.

What are you planning to use it for?

My friend has a couple of tonnes of gravel (for under a patio for example) which he "over estimated" so it is just sittnig there in his driveway.

PM me your contact number and I will pass it on.

It's the decorative above ground small stones that OP is looking for.
