Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Nope, level as it stands.

    Link.

And there it goes, Villa now move up.

Above them now, plus Wigan's GD is now worse.

Great performance from Villa tonite - should give them the confidence to finish the rest of the season on a high.

    Di Canio before the game:

"I wasn't worried about Newcastle who are the worst enemy supporters for us, so you can imagine, I'm not worried about Villa Park," said Di Canio. "For me, it's like going to the theatre or seeing Pavarotti when he was still alive. It's an easy place to go."

Have to say I expected Sunderland to get a point tonight.

Awful result for Wigan (and also Newcastle). You could almost look at this as a '4 pointer' for Villa (due to goal difference).

11 goal swing on Newcastle on goal difference in one weekend! Ridiculous!

Well done Villa. Helluva time to pull that performance and result out of the hat.

Christ what a result...who honestly saw Villa getting ahead of Newcastle on goal difference a few days ago!

Gonna give this a watch. Have some money on Benteke @ 6/1 or any keeper @ 16/1 for MOTM. Hopefully Villa pick up the win as I have a lot of time for Lambert too for obvious reasons.

Well done to Villa fans, the Dortmund legend that is Paul Lambert.. and me.

Yeah a draw wouldn't surprise me. Both teams will be terrified of losing.

You sir, clearly have no idea what you are talking about. Idiot.

    Absolutely delighted for Villa!

Couldn't believe it when I checked the result coming out of Iron Man 3 last night! :D

Really dislike Di Canio which makes it even more sweet.

Benteke. What a player. Would like to see him stay at Villa next with Lambert hopefully bringing in a couple of midfielders and defenders.

Should this not warrant a ban for insulting a poster ( even if it is himself )

   ;)
