Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

broken arm

    2 weeks ago my son broke his arm over a weekend playing sports does anybody know if the insurance that we pay to the schools at the begining of the year (10 euro) covers this breakage

    ah i dont know its just sombody said i could make a claim for broken through the school insurance

    You would get your out of pocket expenses paid ie. hospital bills

    Would your sports clubs insurance not cover it as it was weekend?

    From my understanding of the child insurance policy. There are 2 kinds, one that solely covers school and schoo, activities, the 2nd covers 24-7.

    I am not sure what the cover is but I do think that all small medical and dental are covered.
    Don't think you will thousands but you should not be out of pocket for expenses incurred.

    You can get a claim form off the school if it's the 24/7 insurance. The claim has to been in within 30 days of the incident as far a I remember.

    You pay extra for extra curricular insurance. Standard school insurance is just for school activities. It's not a lot (about a tenner for the year iirc) but if you didn't take it out at the start of the year then you can't claim.
