I'm gonna set this up for tomorrow at 7pm. If we put it off much longer, we'll lose momentum, and we are already a third through the month.

Hey, folks.

I was one of the people who filed in the survey but never replied to the posts in the forum. So, sorry about that...

Corona just doesn't interest me at the moment. I'd prefer to get better at one language first, (obj-c) before i try to learn lua or some other language.

So Im guessing real life bogged everyone down? I got to play around with corona some more during the week and made a very basic tapping balls game Also I think I have found a tower defense game we could look at as a template even if we change the theme from (yes it is) zombies.

The game is Zombie Tower and is the perfect example of a really simple yet annoyingly addictive overhead tower defense game. Its free on ios https://itunes.apple.com/ie/app/zombie-tower-shooting-defense/id490248104?mt=8

Cant find it for android though

One issue Ive come across that might need sorting is how the levels are developed. Using tiled or something similar?

Been a bit busy lately, but just playing around with Lua more than anything else. Scripting languages are pretty new to me so I'm just spending my time getting my head around the new approach needed by doing the very basics (loops, functions).

This is a handy thing to play with in work, when my boss isn't looking

Can't believe I missed this. Filled in the survey, I dont really have much in the way for coding but I did a bit of Sound Effects and Music Production years ago on the side. Although I've heard some of Ropedrink's stuff, he's quite good!

Yeah sorry guys, things have been a bit more hectic lately in work and as LC says, whatever free time I have is based around sitting outside trying to absorb as much sunlight as I can

When the weather goes crappy, I'll bring this back on the table

Sounds fair. Ive been pretty busy too and even a few solo projects have fallen to the side with this heat. Will be uprooting to Canada in September though so not sure what position I'll be in then.
