As said my JRT 1.5 year old will have a shower we me no bother.

I have had a few dogs but never thought of taking them into the shower until I was looking after a dog for my sons friend and the dog rolled on a dead fish and stank so I dragged it into the shower with me to wash it.

With this JRT I have,I just call her in and wash/rinse her no bother bar the fight for the towel. :)

    Anyone else try this.?

Every so often my JRT used to appear at the shower door while I was in there and demand entry.

First time she did it I figured I'd let her in (if only to stop the incessant scratching at the shower door) and once a bit of water hit her she'd be out like a shot. Not a bit of it. She loved it.
From then on about once every two months she'd ask to come in, when I was finished washing I'd give her a quick wash and rinse her off then- like the OP said - it was fight for the towel. I usually lost as if I didn't dry her first she'd head straight for the bed.
