Had a couple of shockers this year but I think you're being harsh. Was very poor in all of Madrid's big games in the last couple of years: Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Barcelona, Dortmund. He's been completely ineffective in all those games. He's a great player but I think there definitely is a trend of poor performances from him in the big Real Madrid games.

And yes Ramos is likely to get sent off continuing that. That tackle earlier by the Dortmund player near Reals goal was shocking though.

Madrid needed an early goal. It has not happened. They've blown it. They will not score three goals in the second half without Dortmund responding at least once.

They knew what they had to do, and they failed. I know it's not over yet, but Real are not coming out of this well.

And WTF is the TV3 commentator at??? He utters the words "He's off!" after an incident. And there was not even a card shown. Is he off his fukken head or something?!? Eejit.

I think Alonso and Modric are being made look bad by Gundogan, he looks a superb player. Hummels is certainly making up for last week as well. If only all football was played at such a tempo!

Only to a point, Dortmund are often barely in control of the ball, too many 100 mph passes and poor flick-ons.
