How do I change my default search engine from "Ask" to "Google" on Chrome.

I recently downloaded a video software and my default search engine changed from "Google" to "Ask". Now when I type in anything in the address bar, it takes me to a list of search results on "Ask". How do I change the default search engine back to "Google"? please keep it simple as i know jack about fixing these sort of…

Put chrome://settings/ in your address bar, go down to Search, then 'Manage Search Engines' and you should be able to put Google back as your default. You can also delete any other (annoying) ones, something to keep an eye on when you do new installs.
