No Phone Coverage

    Lads,

    I'm wondering could the good folks of boards help me out.

    My friend gave me a Samsung Galaxy Ace locked to Vodafone. I rooted it and ran an unlock app to successfully remove the simlock.

    Typed *#7465625# and it confirms it is unlocked.

    Placed 48 sim card in and nothing.
    Placed o2 sim card in and again nothing.

    That was last night - gave it to my friend and he placed his 48 card in and it worked.

    Was running Gingerbread.

    Flashed a custom Jellybean ROM - no problem,still working.


    However, about 20 minutes ago again it has stopped working.
    Circle with a line through it where the reception bars should be.

    Again have tried a Vodafone, o2 and another 48 simcard and none are working.


    What is the problem do people think? - appreciate all possible solutions.
