    Do you think they would have been in favor of it or opposed it especially if they knew all the suffering behind it?

    I think Connolly might be for it as he wasn't motivated just by Irish independence but a socialist republic but he knew the only way to achieve this was by Irish independence. But would he happy enough with a 26 county socialist republic?

    We know Dev was anti-treaty but what about the rest who died?
