Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

MHEG5 = Saorview?

    MHEG 5 is only for add-on text & interactive features. Saorview video is MPEG 4 encoded.

    The tv in the link only decodes MPEG 2, so is only any good for Freeview (UK terrestrial) standard definition broadcasts. No use for Saorview.

    Do you not have a link to the 29" that you say claims to support Saorview?

    Edit: This one presumably? Mentions Freeview & 'Soarview', but lists same 'video system' specs as the 24" (MPEG 2 MP@ML).

    The specs for the 29225F on Cello's own site mention 'MPEG 4, MP@HL, H264'.

    This still isn't to Saorview spec. & would only get you standard def. channels, so no RTE2 atm, or any others that (hopefully) eventually go HD.

    The C24115DVB is still listed as MPEG 2 only.

    MP@HL is HD though? MP@ML is SD.

    Main profile (MP) doesn't do HD.

    Seems to be some confusion in profile numbering, even in Saorview specs., with MP@ L3 listed for SDTV & also HP@ L3. HDTV is always HP@ L4.

    Maybe level 3 is main profile & level 4 high profile? Have to read up on it.

    Yeah I'm wrong alright. Main profile does HD on MPEG-2 but not MPEG-4.

    The profiles & levels in MPEG4 AVC/H264 don't correspond to the listed specs. for the 29" Cello tv: there is a 'main' & 'high' profile, among others, & the levels are numbered from 1 to 5.2, so it's possible the correct spec. for this tv could be high profile @ level 4.

    Thanks for the info folks, i'm going to play it safe and stick with an Irish retailer.

    The main issue I have is i'm trying to get up to about a 24" - 26" Saorview TV that is 12volt
