I was told if you ask for a packet of red rizlas and 20 smokes you'll be arrested for drug abuse.

    So I was.

Anyone care to explain the difference between them? I'm guessing it's the thickness of the paper?

Many many years ago I was stung by my mother who found a receipt for smokes and rizzla in my bin.

    Blue ftw!

Afair blue are v thin, red normal and green have little quarter circles cut out of the two ungummed corners, for some unfathomable reason. It's been a while so I could be wrong.

An original Gutenberg Bible is best in my experience, paper is just right.

I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger:D

Use that bit for a roach.

I like the way the green ones have the two corners cut out of the un-gummed side - considerably reduces instances of rolling up the 'wrong side'.
Also I find green has just the right balance between lightness of paper and tensional/torsional strength.

I usually use the RAW skins made from hemp but green are my favourite rizlas if i had to use them. OCB's are pretty good too.

The corners are to stop you rolling arse ways, and I believe they're for blind people as well.

These bad boys are where it's at: http://www.smokeitandmore.com/images/products/glass%20clear%20rolling%20papers%2050.jpg

Everyone believes this but it's bull****. Skins comes out of the packet the same way every time; you don't need corners to get your bearings. And I mean, do you really think that for someone who can function normally in day-to-day life - getting their shopping, travelling on the bus, hell, even getting out of bed and making it to the kitchen without injuring themselves - that rolling a smoke the right way around would present an insurmountable obstacle?

doubtful but no reason things can't be made a little easier for them

My mate was telling me about a humorous exhange with an Indian shopkeeper when he was trying to buy skins back when he was 16:

Friend: Heya, could I get a pack of green Rizla please?
Shopkeeper: I'm sorry sir, you are too young to serve.
Friend: Ah C'mon man, they're just papers!
Shopkeeper (in thick Indian accent): Yes, but you will not be writing on them!

Silver are the best, imo, since they're the thinnest. I dont' want to taste burning paper. Rizlas are too wide too, I prefer the Smoking brand.

Stoners are a gas bunch. They'll lecture you on the health benefits of smoking "less paper" with Blue Rizlas and yet have no bother mixing their grass with a ripped up, filterless John Player Blue.

Smoking anything is bad for you, the bloody paper is the least of your worries.

I haven't seen anyone talk about the health benefits of less paper, it tends to be a matter of how it tastes. Thicker paper = more burning paper taste, which isn't good.

A friend of mine asked the shopkeeper for a pack of joints instead of rizla

the blue ocb double pack with the little white elastic band is my favorite, followed by smoking masters, then ocb black.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,157 ✭✭✭srsly78

Ahem, silver rizla or silver "smoking" brand skins. Large skins of course...

OCBs are awesome but you have to go to specialist shop to get them.

Only noobs use red/green rizla. Blue are just about acceptable if you stuck.

Blind and stoned could be a pretty dodgy combination.
