Good 42 inch flatscreen

    Hi,

    Has anyone spotted a good TV in any shops, preferably 42"?

    Obviously has to have Saorview and be full HD 1080p.
    Would nice to have stuff like media player, 3D, smart, built in wifi.

    Could prob spend 700 on it.

    Personally I always look at the curry.Co.UK website before making a decisions like this one. You could get a really good Samsung one with sAORVlEW built.in to it and freesat. Read their reviews. Makes a much better option than listening to the garbage some shops will tell you. I went to the store in Enniskillen as I live near the border. It's a bank holiday weekend so they will be having a sale. The models are newer. You could always see then if your local store will price match it. I however bought a Sony 40 inch LcD locally ex display for three hundred euro as I figured I could live without iris h television.

    I see Peats has a 42" Panasonic for €600 http://www.peats.com/cgi-bin/catalog_v2.cgi?id=31170&type=product but don't know if it's any good.

    powercity.ie has a 50" LG for €650 with DivX movie playback; http://powercity.ie/?par=10-14-50PN450&pages=1&prod=50PN450&brands=LG&image= and a 50" Panasoic TV for €700 with the DivX movie payback.

    TBH, DivX movie playback is a bit old, esp if you plan on watching it on a 50" TV.
