I never know whether to like or dislike Owens. He just loves being the centre of attention but at the same time some of his lines are good...

The insane pace Leinster are trying to play the game at is killing them. Ospreys thrive on this. Slow it down, phase play, nobody isolated, pin them back and go from there.

I must've missed that when I went for a piss. Who did he say it to, and what were they at?

Which two was he talking to? I am precariously living through this thread and twitter :o

SOB and Alun Wyn Jones seemed to be getting a bit niggly

Really enjoying the game so far. Nigels having a good game I thought

Jones would want to get off his arse a bit more down in OZ. His Scrummaging is top notch but Cole wouldn't have let McGrath by like that

Hang on, why is the Munster match finished?

Yeah strange that, I thought they all started at 19:45. Scarlets currently losing to Treviso

    Italy are an hour ahead...

    1945 Italian time

defeats the purpose though as theyre supposed to kick off at the same time, irrespective of timezones I would have thought

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,340 ✭✭✭yimrsg

We need to stop the silly mistakes and take the safe option rather and clear our lines than the risky ones like trying to run out from our 22. Ospreys have capitalised on our mistakes rather than them making opportunities.

Think we've done well in the scrums, Duncan Jones is losing out to Hagan and McGrath seems to coping well with Adam Jones. Ruddock's been prominent in the lineouts and I think his bulk is very important to Hagan's performance in the scrums, Cronin's throwing has been haphazard but he's looking dangerous in the loose. SOB's been a little quiet.

We've gotten good success when we stretch them and spread the ball out wide through the hands, Cooney's been busy looking for work and took his tries well. Luke McGrath has done very well considering rucktime is a mess and Nigel is allowing it to be a mess. Hopefully the knocks to Sexton and Madigan are minor as they've looked dangerous with ball in hand.

Fcuk sake Conway, scores a hattrick in probably his last Leinster game

They were allowed bring it forward as the result has no bearing

I was watching RTE2 before kickoff, and they said something about Trev v Mun being allowed to kick off early because the result didn't matter.

Not really that sold on Quinn Roux

Think Sexton was asking what the score was in the Ulster game.

agreed but willing to give him another season (hopefully injury free) to prove himself. He has shown some potential

Neither am I, Ben Marshall is the same age and has looked far far more convincing in the games he has played. OK Roux brings bulk but hasn't really done anything to deserve the opportunities he's getting

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,619 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Apparently all this time we just needed to kick it in behind to ospreys...

Would Madigan ever cop himself on. His play represents exactly what Ospreys are in this game.

Textbook penalty for tackler not rolling away missed by Owens.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,636 ✭✭✭✭Tox56

How in the name of all that is holy was that not a pen?? Not even attempted to roll away

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,910 ✭✭✭✭whatawaster

    Great performance from leinster scrum

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,234 ✭✭✭trouttrout

Very impressed by McGrath. We could have a silly amount of class LH's soon

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Hagan and McGrath working them over nicely. Jones has looked far from the Lions tighthead in waiting. I suspect it's not so much to do with Jones though as it is McGrath.

Hope news of the Scarlets game doesn't filter through to the Ospreys players.

    Was just thinking that!

IF we can't close out the game with 18 minutes left and a 15 point margin we really don't deserve second place

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Superb work by SOB. Madness by Ospreys turning down a gimme 3 points in front of the posts with 20 minutes to go.

RK looking like his old self in the last two games. Still not clicking entirely going forward but looks far more confident and decisive.

No wonder hes going to Munster :pac:

And there's the less good of Conway. Came way in when not needed on first viewing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,681 ✭✭✭✭P_1

Getting flashbacks here lads. 8 nervy minutes ahead now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,636 ✭✭✭✭Tox56

Bloody Ospreys, every time. Why do their offloads always stick against us??

No Conway was caught completely out of position on that one. He actually turns around and runs the other way when he realizes his mistake. These mistakes can be ironed out but you can't coach the type of pace he is.

14 I thought. Was sprinting across and did a cartoon stutter stop, trying to turn and run back when he saw the long pass coming.

World's fattest winger gets over for the icing.

Christ, Ospreys are a wee bit susceptible to the kick in behind.
