Well the draw in the senior final threw everyone with only dastardly00 getting anywhere close to it. The Waterford victory in the minor and especially the margin of victory threw most people with Mountainlad the only one to get a bonus point this week meaning he's the top scorer.
The game is unexpectedly prolonged thanks to the replay in 3 weeks and jjjd and shiibata are still going hell for leather at the top with just a point in it.

Well, well, well. After 60 games in the All Ireland, Christy Ring, Nicky Rackard and Lory Meagher championships, both jjjd and shiibata finish in a dead heat on 100 points each. So it will almost certainly come down to which one of the two did better in the initial predictions (which I will calculate soon). paddb1975 was four points behind the two in third place.

Well, I was hoping this wouldn't happen, but we've got a tie for first place. Both shiibata and jjjd finished up on 104 points. padd b1975 came third with 102 points. A bit of a gap then to ShamoBuc in fourth with 96 points and Fireball07 and Mountainlad in 5th with 93 points.
So if anyone has any idea of how to separate jjjd and shiibata, then please let me know. Or if they would both prefer to share the title that's fine with me as well.

In regards to the initial predictions, there wasn't a single correct prediction in the Liam McCarthy championship. KevinK got the highest score of 8 points having correctly predicted the winners and runners up of both the Christy Ring and Nicky Rackard Cups.

Special thanks to Andy Dunne11 for doing the scoring while I was away on holiday in June/July saving me massive amounts of time when I returned.

Congratulations to the two winners, great achievement in what turned out to be a very unpredictable championship!

Thanks to HA for his time and speedy updates each week, perhaps next year it might be an idea to include the minor championship as it's very hard to make up ground with the limited amount of matches if you have a bad week or two.
