Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

AIK's Goalkeeper dies suddenly

    Swedish football club AIK's Croatian goalkeeper Ivan Turina has been found dead in his northern Stockholm apartment, according to local media reports on Thursday.

    "I can confirm that Ivan Turina is dead but there are no suspicions of crime," police spokesman Patrik Nuss was quoted as saying.

    Police said they were called to Turina's apartment early on Thursday morning. The 32-year-old Croatian signed for AIK in 2010 and played 65 league games for the Solna club. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.

    Never good to hear sof something like that.

    When he signed for them three years ago he informed them he had a congenital heart problem but I assume nobody expected this would happen.

    Not really his family should be concerned, more someone himself. But yes 'faux outrage' and all that is terrible.

    I'm not outraged but that was a poor joke. Hopefully though you will be at my funeral to crack a few jokes, ****ing hate them funerals where everybody is really upset. Do some fart jokes, promise me?

    I'll probably just make some joke about it being the first time you've got your hole as the coffin is lowered
