I'm just bearing in mind this is the same Benitez played down his injury last week after the game and he then wasn't even in the squad Sunday.

Rafa said he was ok but didn't want to risk him in the United game ahead of the Spurs match tomorrow night.

Benitaz gives encouraging news on Hazard.

Benitez Press Conference: Hazard back in squad for Spurs clash. Bertrand and Mikel out, Romeu could return.

Great news! Means Sagna will come in for me. Currently I have 0 points from the 3 defenders I started, Ridgewell, Bertrand and Hangeland so I'll gladly take anything I can get. Sagna's 6 in the hand is better than hoping Bertrand keeps a cleanie!

This has been a terrible week purely because of no defender points despite all the clean sheets!

don't ever try to read into anything Rafa says about squads, or indeed anything he says to the media.

everything should be with a pinch of salt as he gives away very little to them.

Hoping for Hart, Clichy and Tevez to all start. Would be very very big for my season with such little time remaining.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,369 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

genuinely, i think your only risk is Clichy.

Hart and Tevez are nailed on IMO, unless Mancini wants to give Pantillimon a tune-up before the weekend.

I'm not confident enough about any of the 3, Hart for the reason you quoted, and Tevez because he might still be starting at the weekend.

Clichy defo the biggest risk though.

On 79 at the moment with quite a few left to play (hopefully)
Hart, Zab, Tevez / Maloney, Kone
    Mata / Vertonghen, Bale, Lennon

Anyone know the latest on Lennon?

Ok so looks like Lennon (and Dembele) have been included in the squad for the Chelsea game. That's a start...

No McAuley for West Brom, is good for my private league.

I'm also wondering how Craig Dawson (who I've never heard of) will deal with City's strikers.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,022 ✭✭✭✭Iused2likebusts

Absolutely I can see the midweek team being Hart Richards Lescott K Toure Kolarov Garcia rodwell tevez Dzeko and 2 of todays team.

The secrets out im roberto mancini.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,747 ✭✭✭Swiper the fox

Need Tevez to score a flukey hat trick without playing himself into the team for the Cup final, it'd be great if he played against Reading next week also.;)

Then I hate you (for not playing Aguero, or Clichy).

    I approve these line-ups.

Gary Monk starting for Swansea is great news......as I have Kone and Maloney :D
Tevez and Hart play. Lukaku could be a threat too if Hart were to concede.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 805 ✭✭✭xerces

Time to shine Tevez, a goal or an assist would be grand.

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

Apparenty WBA are going in a 3-5-2 formation on their teamsheet says the tweet machine....make of that what ye will

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,256 ✭✭✭✭km79

    Looks at teams ........
No Zabaletta. Ok that was expected.
Ben Davies plays. Slightly suprised but happy.
    Maloney played. Expected.
Lukaku plays good but probably won't score.
No McCauley . WTF! That's annoyed me.
No foster either which may be bad as my rival has Tevez captained !
    DGW are overrated :D

Ahhhh, I'm really looking forward to tonight. I have such high hopes about Kone and Maloney! Going to the Arsenal-Wigan game next week too (a United fan supporting Wigan in the Arsenal supporters will be fun) so aside from footballing enjoyment I need them to still be in with a shout fantasy-wise too.

Can anyone spot a problem with Betfair's recent Tweet...

    Wigan FGS – Kone 7.2, McManaman 13, Gomez 13.5, Maloney 10.5, Boyce 46
    Swansea FGS – Michu 11, Hernandez 17, Routledge 23, De Guzman 19

I feel I should be cutting down on my silly jokes so lets just pretend that I made an hilarious quip about Gary Monk not being there

Pfft no Aguero. Everytime I've brought him in this year he has disappointed. Failed 4 point hit

Hope not, the brother has him and his game week has been dire so far. I need it to stay dire. Not in the money stakes, sibling pride at stake.

Hart with a pair of saves already

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

McManaman needs to learn how to cross. Swansea look relatively up for this game but Wigan attacking as one would expect.

    Maloney nearly out-foxed Vorm.

All i can say is come on Lukaku!!!

Just looked at the teams now,Nastasic on the bench,at least he got me 6 points the other day which is more than what my defenders have usually been getting.
My interests in tonight's games are Hart,Kone & Tevez.

I know the feelin'. My main league is full of extended family members, there's a nice few quid going for it, but for me it's really just about being champion for the first time.

I'm in second, not far off my cousin in first. I could do with Tevez, Hart or Lukaku doing something though because he hasn't got any of them.

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

Joel Robles looks like a liability and has given away one of them indirect freekicks for picking up a backpass.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,553 ✭✭✭✭Copper_pipe

Swansea have an indirect free from 8 yards

How many saves does a keeper need to perform to get points?

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,305 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

And a fine point for Ashley Williams, early days yet and could be a vital one.....take your points and the goals will come :pac:

1 point for every 3 saves.
